WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR TEMPORARY RESEARCH PROJECT POST
Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (IGIB), Delhi, desires to engage qualified incumbents for purely temporary position of Project Assistants in the DBT funded GAP0045 project entitled "Screening for bio-molecules from microbial diversity collected from different ecological niches."
Essential qualification:
M.Sc. first class in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences
Experience:
Two years relevant working experience in Microbiological and Molecular Biology techniques related to isolation, characterization and identification of microorganisms. Molecular biology experience in DNA amplification and purification. Knowledge of computer operations and data entry. Incumbents will be required to travel outside Delhi for collection of samples.
Age Limit:
The Age limit is 28 years (age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidate as per Govt. of India instructions)
Stipend:
Rs. 15600/- pm
The duration of the post is initially One year, which may be extendable up to project duration.
