Studentship in Bioinformatics at Bose institute

Applications on plain paper are invited from Indian Citizens for 08 (eight) posts
of Studentship / Traineeship in the Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bioinformatics
supported by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, on a consolidated stipend
of Rs. 5,000/- p.m. (fixed). The posts are tenable for 06 months. Applications with
complete bio-date superscribing the advertisement number along with copies of
certificates / testimonials duly attestation should reach the Registrar, Bose Institute, P-
1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054, within September 19, 2008
or sent by email to studentship@boseinst.ernet.in. Name of those found suitable will be
announced on our website to appear for an interview to be conducted in the forth week of
September, 2008.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : M.Sc. or B.Tech or BCA in any branch of
Science. Knowledge of biology and/or computer science is desirable. Students who are
about to finish their qualifying course by September, 2008 may also apply.
AGE : Below 28 years ( relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates)
